Yucatán wedding videographer

Henequen haciendas, cenotes and the streets of Mérida.

Wedding films for couples marrying in Yucatán: at a restored hacienda in the countryside, in the colonial city of Mérida, or near the cenotes and the yellow town of Izamal. One wedding per date.

A hacienda wedding in Yucatán

Most Yucatán weddings happen at haciendas: old henequen estates restored with their chapels, arches and gardens, lit by candles as evening comes in. Mérida adds a colonial city with grand houses along Paseo de Montejo. A film here is about texture and warm color: weathered walls, tiled floors, deep green gardens and candlelight after dark.

Based in Spain, I film destination weddings anywhere in the world, Yucatán included. I film in a documentary way with a cinematic finish: real moments, natural light, no posing and no script. Discreet microphones record your vows and the toasts at dinner. A hacienda mixes bright courtyards with shaded rooms, and nights there are often lit mostly by candles, so before the day I study the venue with you and your planner and we agree the running order around the light. I film one wedding per date. Your planner or celebrant will confirm the legal side; many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Yucatán.

Clara & Joel

“We never imagined that a video could move us so much. Every shot, every sound, every gesture… everything conveys exactly what we experienced that day. Thank you, Isma, for your dedication, your unique perspective, and for creating something so authentic. You have given us an eternal memory, full of love and sensitivity. We will watch it again and again, always with a smile.”

Booking from abroad

Three steps to your Yucatán date

  1. Book a call at your hour

Choose a video call time in your own time zone. Share your date, whether you are thinking of a hacienda or Mérida itself, and how many days the celebration will last.

  2. We plan the day with your planner

Once the hacienda or venue is chosen, we look at it with your planner: the chapel or garden for the ceremony, the courtyard for dinner, and how the light changes from late afternoon to candlelight.

  3. The date is closed

A booking payment takes the date out of my calendar. The rest follows in installments, and the final 10% is due only when your film is delivered.

Questions

Yucatán wedding films: what couples ask me

Do you film weddings in Yucatán?

Yes. I am based in Spain and available for destination weddings anywhere in the world, including haciendas in Yucatán and the city of Mérida.

What does a wedding videographer in Yucatán cost?

A tailored proposal in euros reaches you within 24 hours of our call or your inquiry. It depends on the collection and on how many days you want filmed, so I ask about your plans before quoting.

Is a hacienda wedding a whole weekend?

It can be. Some haciendas have rooms for guests, so a welcome dinner, the wedding and a farewell can all happen in one place. I can film the days you choose, and on our call we look at which of them matter most for the film.

Can you work with our planner and photographer?

Yes. I agree the timings and positions with both before the wedding, especially for the ceremony and the speeches, so we share the space calmly.

Can you use a drone at the hacienda?

Only where local rules and the weather allow. An aerial view can show the scale of an estate, but I check what applies before the day and the film never depends on it.

When should we book?

Six to twelve months in advance is a good guide, earlier for a Saturday in the busiest season. With one wedding per date, your date stays closed to anyone else.

When will our film be ready?

Expect it two to four months after the wedding, as the season allows. The film and a 2–3 minute trailer wait for you in a private online cinema of your own.
