Getting married in Spain from the UK
A short flight for them, a long evening for you.
Wedding films for UK couples marrying in Spain, from Marbella to Mallorca. One wedding per date and replies in English within 24 hours.
Your guests land after a short flight, the light holds until late and dinner starts at the hour it would be ending at home. I film that whole day, from getting ready to the first hour of the party.
Most UK couples sign the legal papers at home and hold a symbolic ceremony here, which leaves you free to choose the setting. We plan in English, by email and video call. I speak to your planner and photographer before the day and record vows and speeches on discreet microphones. I take one wedding per date, so that Saturday has my full attention.

Getting married in Spain from the UK: what couples ask me
Can we marry legally in Spain as UK citizens?
Spain asks that at least one of you be resident for a civil wedding, so most UK couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Spain. The routes are explained in /en/blog-en/getting-married-in-spain-as-a-foreigner/ and the ceremony itself in /en/blog-en/symbolic-wedding-ceremony-in-spain/.
Does a symbolic ceremony look any different on film?
No. Your vows, the rings and your families’ faces are exactly the same. The film shows the day you lived, and nobody watching it will be thinking about paperwork.
How much does a wedding film in Spain cost?
Collections start from €2,500, and I always quote in euros. Send me the date and region and you’ll have the exact figure within 24 hours.
Will all the planning be in English?
Yes. Emails, calls and every conversation on the day can be in English. I speak Spanish with the venue and the suppliers, so nothing gets lost between the two.
When should we book?
6 to 12 months ahead. If you want a Saturday between May and October, write sooner: those go first, and I take one wedding per date.
Our photographer is coming from the UK. Is that a problem?
Not at all. Wherever your photographer is based, we speak before the day and plan where each of us stands, so neither of us ends up in the other’s frame.
What do we receive, and when?
A 2–3 minute trailer to share and the full film to keep, 2 to 4 months after the wedding depending on the season.
