Puerto Vallarta wedding videographer

Jungle hills, a wide bay and the Pacific at sunset.

Wedding films for couples marrying in Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita and along the Riviera Nayarit, from the Malecón to the surf town of Sayulita. One wedding per date.

A wedding in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta sits on the Bay of Banderas with green hills rising straight behind the town. Weddings here mix beach and jungle: vows on the sand or on a hillside terrace, dinner looking out across the bay, and a party with the lights of the old town below. A film of a day like this needs both the wide views of the bay and the close moments in between.

Based in Spain, I film destination weddings anywhere in the world, Puerto Vallarta and Punta Mita included. I work without a script and without posing, in a documentary style with a cinematic finish. Your vows and speeches are recorded on discreet microphones. The town looks west across the bay, so sunset is the hour many couples build the day around, and before the wedding I go through the venue with you and your planner, the running order and where the light will be at the times you choose. One wedding per date. Your planner or celebrant will confirm the legal side; many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Puerto Vallarta.

Booking from abroad

Three steps to your Puerto Vallarta date

  1. Book a call at your hour

Find a video call slot that fits your schedule at home, from Chicago to Calgary. Tell me your date, whether you are drawn to Vallarta itself or Punta Mita, and the plan for the weekend.

  2. We plan the day with your planner

When your venue is decided, your planner and I go over it with you: the ceremony spot, the dinner layout and how the light moves across the bay toward sunset.

  3. The date is closed

Your date is closed by a booking payment. The balance is spread over installments, and the last 10% is paid only when you receive your film.

Questions

Puerto Vallarta wedding films: what couples ask me

Do you film weddings in Puerto Vallarta?

Yes. Based in Spain, I film destination weddings anywhere in the world, including Puerto Vallarta, Punta Mita and the Riviera Nayarit.

What does a wedding videographer in Puerto Vallarta cost?

You receive a tailored proposal in euros within 24 hours of our call or your inquiry. It is built on the collection and the days you want filmed, so I like to understand your weekend before sending it.

Beach or hillside: which works better on film?

Both work, in different ways. On the beach you have the sea and the sunset right behind you; on a terrace in the hills you have the whole bay laid out below. Once your planner has the layout we decide the camera positions together.

Can you work with our planner and photographer?

Yes. I speak with both ahead of the wedding to settle timings and where each of us stands, so the ceremony and the toasts are covered without anyone in the way.

Can you film with a drone?

Only where local rules and the weather allow. I check what applies to your venue in advance, and the film is complete without aerial shots.

When should we book?

Aim for six to twelve months ahead, earlier for a Saturday in the most popular months. As I film one wedding per date, closing it keeps the date for you alone.

When will the film be delivered?

Two to four months after the wedding, depending on the season, in your own private online cinema and with a 2–3 minute trailer.
