Wedding videographer in Mexico

Caribbean jungle, Pacific desert and colonial courtyards.

Wedding films for couples from the US, Canada and beyond who choose Mexico: the beaches of the Riviera Maya, the cliffs of Los Cabos, the old streets of San Miguel de Allende and the haciendas of Yucatán. One wedding per date.

A destination wedding in Mexico

A wedding in Mexico is usually a long weekend rather than a single day. Guests come down from home for a welcome dinner, then the ceremony, a party that runs late and a slow goodbye brunch. The setting might be white sand on the Caribbean, desert meeting the Pacific or a colonial town in the highlands, and the film should hold the color and warmth of the one you choose.

Based in Spain, I film destination weddings anywhere in the world, Mexico included, and I work in English and Spanish. My approach stays the same wherever you marry. It is documentary and cinematic: no script, no posing, real moments in natural light. Vows, toasts and speeches are recorded on discreet microphones, so your film keeps your voices. Before the wedding I go through the venue with you and your planner, the running order and where the light falls at the hours you pick, which matters most for a beach ceremony timed around sunset. I take one wedding per date. Your planner or celebrant will confirm the legal side; many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Mexico.

“The video is simply incredible. We relive every emotion, every glance, every moment. It’s clear that there is so much love behind every detail. You gave us the best gift we could have hoped for.”

Questions

Wedding films in Mexico: what couples ask me

Do you film weddings in Mexico?

Yes. I am based in Spain and take destination weddings anywhere in the world, Mexico included. We plan in English or Spanish, by email and video call, around your time zone.

How much does a wedding videographer in Mexico cost?

Every destination wedding gets a tailored proposal in euros within 24 hours of our call or your inquiry. It depends on the collection and on how many days of the weekend you want filmed, so I like to hear the plan first.

Which part of Mexico suits our wedding?

The Riviera Maya and Los Cabos suit a beach weekend, San Miguel de Allende and Yucatán a wedding among colonial architecture and haciendas, Puerto Vallarta a mix of jungle and bay. Your planner knows the venues; on our call I can tell you what each setting gives the film.

Can you work with our planner and photographer?

Yes. Most weddings in Mexico are run by a planner, and I speak with them and with your photographer before the day to agree timings and where each of us stands for the ceremony and toasts.

Can you film with a drone?

Only where local rules and the weather allow. Rules can differ between beaches, towns and protected sites, so I check for your venue in advance, and the film never relies on aerial shots.

When should we book?

Six to twelve months ahead is sensible, and earlier for a Saturday in the most popular months for your region. With one wedding per date, the date is yours alone once it is closed.

When will our film be ready?

Allow two to four months from the wedding, depending on the time of year. You watch it in a private online cinema of your own, with a 2–3 minute trailer to share with guests back home.
