Indian wedding videographer in Spain

Several days, every ritual in its place.

Films of Indian destination weddings in Spain, from the welcome to the reception. Planned day by day with your family and your planner.

An Indian wedding in Spain

An Indian wedding is rarely a single day. There may be a welcome, the Haldi, the Mehndi, the Sangeet, the Baraat, the pheras under the mandap and the reception, and each has its own mood, its own people and its own light.

Traditions differ between Hindu, Sikh, Muslim and other families, and from one family to the next. So I don’t arrive with a fixed plan. Before the wedding we go through the schedule of each day with your planner: which rituals matter most to you, who has to be in the frame, where the light falls at each hour. I record vows, blessings and speeches on discreet microphones and agree with your photographer where each of us stands, so we never compete for the same spot.

The collections

Coverage shaped around your days

Bronze, Silver, Gold and Diamond

Each collection describes one wedding day, and an Indian wedding usually needs more. We shape the coverage around your days and events and I send you a tailored proposal. Silver and above bring two videographers, and an extra videographer, extra hours of party or a Same Day Edit can be added.

Questions

Indian wedding in Spain: what families ask me

Can you film several days of celebrations?

Yes. I take one wedding per date, so the whole window of your celebration stays free for you. We shape the coverage around your days and events, from the welcome to the reception, and I send a tailored proposal.

Will you understand the rituals?

I won’t pretend to know your family’s traditions better than you do. Before the wedding we go through the running order and each ritual together: what happens, who takes part and which moments matter most. On the day I know where to be. A Hindu ceremony, a Sikh Anand Karaj and a Nikah follow different forms, and every family adds its own customs, so we plan for yours.

Do you work with our Indian wedding planner?

Yes. I coordinate with your planner and your photographer before the wedding, wherever they are based, and work from the same schedule so the cameras never get in the way of a ritual.

Can the Baraat be filmed with a drone?

Only when the weather and the local regulations allow it. I check the rules for your venue and the time of the procession beforehand, and the Baraat is always covered from the ground as well.

Can we show a film at the reception?

Yes, with a Same Day Edit: highlights of the celebration shown on a big screen that same night. It is an optional extra, and we decide together which moments go into it.

What languages do you work in?

Spanish and English. I plan with you in English and speak Spanish with the venue and local suppliers. Vows, prayers and songs in any language are recorded as they are, on discreet microphones.

How much does it cost?

A celebration over several days is always quoted to measure, because no two running orders are alike. Send me your dates and events and you’ll have my reply within 24 hours.

When will we receive the film?

Between 2 and 4 months after the last day of the celebration, as the season allows. Every film is edited calmly, by hand.
