Getting married in Spain from Ireland

The speeches, the songs and every word.

Wedding films for Irish couples marrying in Spain. Clean sound from every speech, a full-length film and one wedding per date.

An Irish wedding in Spain

Irish weddings run long, and the words carry them. The speeches, a toast from an uncle nobody had on the list, the song someone starts at the table. That is what your film is made of.

I record the speeches on discreet microphones, so each voice reaches the film clearly over the noise of the room. The full film runs 20 to 40 minutes depending on the collection, with space for the people who spoke. The legal part is usually done in Ireland and the ceremony here is symbolic, so you can choose the place for the party rather than the paperwork.

From a Mallorca wedding

Clara & Joel

“We never imagined that a video could move us so much. Every shot, every sound, every gesture… everything conveys exactly what we experienced that day. Thank you, Isma, for your dedication, your unique perspective, and for creating something so authentic. You have given us an eternal memory, full of love and sensitivity. We will watch it again and again, always with a smile.”

Questions

An Irish wedding in Spain: your questions

Have you filmed Irish couples before?

Yes. I have filmed weddings of Irish couples, so long speeches and a party that does not want to end are familiar ground. We plan the day around what matters to your families.

Can we have a legal wedding in Spain if we live in Ireland?

A civil wedding in Spain needs at least one partner to be resident, so most Irish couples complete the legal part at home and celebrate with a symbolic ceremony in Spain. See /en/blog-en/getting-married-in-spain-as-a-foreigner/ for the options and /en/blog-en/symbolic-wedding-ceremony-in-spain/ for how the ceremony works.

Will the speeches be clear in the film?

Yes. I record them on discreet microphones, so the words come through without the room drowning them out, and you hear your best man the way the guests heard him.

How much of the party do you film?

Every collection includes the first hour of the party. You can add an extra hour, which suits a wedding where the dancing starts late and keeps going.

Do you film religious ceremonies?

Yes. I film civil and religious ceremonies as well as symbolic ones. Tell me early if you want a church, so we plan the coverage around it.

How long is the film?

Bronze gives you a 20–30 minute film. Silver, Gold and Diamond give you 30–40 minutes. Each comes with a 2–3 minute trailer for the family group chat.

What does it cost?

From €2,500, quoted in euros. Send me your date and venue and I’ll come back within 24 hours with the exact price.

Our guests are booking flights. When should we lock in the date?

As early as you can. 6 to 12 months ahead is the usual window, and earlier for a Saturday between May and October, because I only film one wedding per date.
