Wedding videographer in Barcelona
Modernista façades, a city beach and the Costa Brava.
Films for couples who come from abroad to marry in Barcelona, on the Garraf coast, among the Penedès vines or in a cove on the Costa Brava. One wedding per date.
Barcelona hands your guests a whole city for the days around the wedding: the lanes of the Gothic Quarter, the façades of the Eixample, a beach a short walk from the old town. Beyond it lie the Garraf coast, the vineyards of the Penedès and the coves of the Costa Brava.
This page is for couples who live outside Spain and choose Barcelona for their wedding. I film destination weddings across Spain, and we plan in English, by email and video call, with an answer from me within 24 hours. On the day there is no script and no posing. Vows and speeches go on discreet microphones, and I agree the timings with your planner and photographer beforehand. Most couples from abroad sign the legal papers at home and hold a symbolic ceremony here, which leaves the choice of setting open.

From a Toledo wedding
Irene & Marcos
“Watching the video brought back all the excitement we felt on our wedding day. It’s beautiful, full of details and moments we had forgotten but will now never forget. It’s a memory we will cherish forever.”

City, coast and vineyards

- Ciutat Vella
The Gothic Quarter
Medieval lanes and small squares around the cathedral. Early in the morning, before the streets fill, they give you a quiet setting for portraits. - Modernista Barcelona
The Eixample
Wide avenues lined with modernista buildings by Gaudí and his contemporaries. A drive past them in a classic car makes an easy scene between the ceremony and dinner. - The hills above the city
Park Güell and Montjuïc
Gardens and viewpoints with Barcelona spread out below. Filming rules at the monuments vary, so I check what is allowed for your date and plan the portraits around it. - The waterfront
Barceloneta and the seafront
The city beach and the promenade running up from the old port. For a beach wedding in Barcelona, or a walk on the sand as the lights come on. - South of Barcelona
Sitges and the Garraf coast
A whitewashed seaside town with its church standing over the beach, and a coastline of cliffs and small bays on the way there. - Wine country
The Penedès vineyards
The home of cava: rows of vines and old country estates inland. An open-air ceremony among the vines, then a long dinner outdoors. - North of Barcelona
The Costa Brava and the Empordà
Rocky coves and pine-covered headlands on the coast, and medieval stone villages a little inland. A weekend that feels far from the city.

Destination wedding in Barcelona: what couples ask me
How much does a wedding videographer in Barcelona cost?
Collections start from €2,500, always quoted in euros. Bronze brings one videographer and a 20–30 minute film. Silver brings two videographers and a 30–40 minute film. Gold adds a pre-wedding and a post-wedding session, and Diamond a screening of your film in a real cinema. Send me your date and the exact price reaches you within 24 hours.
We live abroad. Can we marry legally in Barcelona?
A civil wedding in Spain needs at least one partner to be resident, so most couples from abroad complete the legal part at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Barcelona. The route is explained in /en/blog-en/getting-married-in-spain-as-a-foreigner/ and the ceremony in /en/blog-en/symbolic-wedding-ceremony-in-spain/.
Can you film inside the Sagrada Família or Park Güell?
I can’t promise shots inside the monuments. Their rules on filming change and some need permission, so I look at what applies on your date. The streets, squares and viewpoints around them give plenty for your portraits either way.
Is a beach wedding possible in Barcelona?
Yes. There is the city beach and the seafront, and quieter coves along the Garraf coast and the Costa Brava. Public beaches have their own rules for events, which your planner can check, and a venue right by the sea is often the simpler choice for a large group. I adapt the filming to whichever you pick.
Will the planning be in English?
Yes. Emails, video calls and the day itself can all be in English. I speak Spanish with the venue and the local suppliers, so nothing is lost between the two.
Can you use a drone?
Only where the weather and the regulations allow. Flying over a city is often restricted, while the coast and the vineyards usually leave more options. I check the rules for your venue before the day, and the film never depends on the drone.
When should we book, and when is the film ready?
Book 6 to 12 months ahead, and earlier for a Saturday between May and October. The film arrives 2 to 4 months after the wedding, depending on the season, together with a 2–3 minute trailer.
