Lisbon & Sintra wedding videographer
Seven hills, a wide river and palaces in the mist.
Films for couples marrying in Lisbon, in the palaces and gardens of Sintra or on the coast at Cascais. Based in Spain, I film destination weddings anywhere in the world, one wedding per date.
Lisbon gives a film colour and texture: tiled façades, yellow trams on steep streets, the Tagus opening out towards the sea. Sintra, close by, is the opposite mood. Green hills, romantic palaces, mist that can lift in minutes. A good film of a wedding here moves between the two and lets each one breathe.
I film in a documentary way and cut cinematically, with no script and no posing. Vows and speeches are recorded on discreet microphones, so a quiet promise in a garden carries in the film. As I have not filmed at your venue before, I study it with you and your planner: the spaces you are using, the order of the day, and where the light sits at the times you choose, whether that is a city terrace at sunset or a shaded garden in Sintra. One wedding per date, always.

Nerea & Martín
“We still get goose bumps every time we watch the video. It’s incredible how you managed to capture every emotion so delicately. Thank you, Isma, for your talent, your patience, and for giving us something that will stay with us for the rest of our lives.”

How your Lisbon date gets closed
A call at your hour
Pick a time that works where you live. We talk about your date, your venue and the kind of film you want to watch again in ten years.

Planning with your planner
Together with your planner I look at the venue, the timings and the light, so on the day I already know where to be.

Booking payment and instalments
A booking payment holds the date for you alone. The rest goes in instalments, with the last 10% due only on delivery of your film.

Lisbon and Sintra weddings: your questions
Do you film weddings in Lisbon and Sintra?
Yes. I am based in Spain and available for destination weddings anywhere in the world, Lisbon and Sintra included. All the planning can be in English.
What does a wedding film in Lisbon cost?
There is no fixed price list for destination weddings. After our call or your enquiry you receive a tailored proposal in euros within 24 hours, built around the coverage you need.
Can you work alongside our planner and photographer?
Of course. I agree the timings with your planner and talk to your photographer before the day, so we share the ceremony without getting in each other’s way.
Sintra is often misty. What if the weather turns?
Sintra’s hills have their own weather, and mist can come and go during the day. I plan an indoor or covered option for the portraits with your planner, and soft grey light often suits a film well.
Will there be drone shots?
Only where local rules and the weather allow. Cities and historic sites often restrict drones, so I check for your venue beforehand and never build the film around them.
How far ahead should we book?
Six to twelve months is a good guide, and earlier if you want a Saturday from May to October. I take one wedding per date.
When do we receive the film?
Between two and four months after the wedding, depending on the season. It is delivered in a private online cinema, with a 2–3 minute trailer as well as the full film.
