Provence wedding videographer

Olive groves, stone bastides and a long table outdoors.

Films for couples marrying in Provence, from the hill villages of the Luberon to the Alpilles and the country around Aix. Based in Spain, I film destination weddings anywhere in the world.

A wedding in Provence

Provence weddings are mostly lived outside. A ceremony in a courtyard or among the olive trees, drinks as the heat goes out of the day, dinner under plane trees or strings of lights. A film of that day needs the warm stone, the dry hills, the sound of the cicadas in the afternoon and the moment the table goes quiet for a toast.

My approach is documentary and cinematic. I do not stage the day; I follow it, and the vows and speeches are recorded on discreet microphones so the film carries your own voices. Before the day I prepare the venue with you and your planner, through the running order, the layout of the house and where the light falls at the times you pick. I take one wedding per date.

“The video exceeded all our expectations. It is pure emotion, a perfect blend of beauty, excitement, and authenticity. Each image transports us back to that day, as if we were experiencing it all over again.”

Questions

A wedding film in Provence: what couples ask

Do you film weddings in Provence?

Yes. I am based in Spain and available for destination weddings anywhere in the world. We plan in English, on video calls and by email.

What does a Provence wedding film cost?

There is no fixed price list for destination weddings. Within 24 hours of our call or your enquiry you receive a tailored proposal in euros for your day.

Summer in Provence can be very hot. How do you plan around it?

Many couples in the south hold the ceremony later in the afternoon and the dinner after dark. I go through the timings with you and your planner so the key moments fall in softer light and your guests are comfortable. Shade, water and an evening ceremony help the film as much as the guests.

Can we have portraits in the lavender?

Lavender is usually in flower in early summer, but it varies from year to year. If it matters to you, a pre-wedding or post-wedding session on the days around the wedding gives more room than the day itself. The Gold collection includes both.

Can you work with our planner and photographer?

Yes. I agree timings and positions with them before the day and work quietly during it.

Will you fly a drone over the house?

Only where local rules and the weather allow. I check what applies to your venue in advance, and the film never relies on aerial shots.

When should we book, and when will we see the film?

Six to twelve months ahead, earlier for a summer Saturday. The film is delivered two to four months after the wedding in your private online cinema, with a short trailer.
