The Algarve is a coast of ochre cliffs, hidden coves and very blue water, and the best part of a wedding day here usually comes late, as the sun drops towards the sea and the rock turns orange. A film of it should hold the scale of the coastline and the closeness of a group of guests on a terrace above it.
I work in a documentary way and edit for the cinema: nothing staged, no script. Discreet microphones carry the vows over the sound of the wind and the waves, and the speeches at dinner come through clearly. Before the day I study your villa or resort with you and your planner, the order of events, and where the light will fall at the hour you have set for the ceremony. One wedding per date, so the whole day is yours.

Plan it with your planner
We go over the venue, the running order and the sunset timing with your planner, and I agree the plan with your photographer.
Close the date
A booking payment secures it. The balance is spread in instalments, and the final 10% is paid only once your film is delivered.

Algarve weddings: what couples ask
Do you film weddings in the Algarve?
Yes. I am based in Spain and I film destination weddings anywhere in the world, the Algarve included. We can plan everything in English.
How much is an Algarve wedding videographer?
Each destination wedding gets a tailored proposal in euros, sent within 24 hours of our call or your enquiry, so you pay for the coverage your day needs.
Will you work with our planner and photographer?
Yes. I coordinate the timings with your planner before the day and agree positions with your photographer, so the ceremony stays calm for you and your guests.
We want a sunset ceremony on the cliffs. Is that a good idea?
It can be lovely. The light at the end of the day suits the colour of the rock. Coastal wind can be strong, so I put microphones close to you and the celebrant, and we agree a sheltered option with your planner in case it picks up.
Can you film drone shots over the coast?
Only where local rules and the weather allow. Parts of the coast restrict drones, so I check for your venue beforehand. Your film never depends on them.
When should we book?
Six to twelve months before is a good rule, and earlier for a Saturday between May and October, when the coast is busiest. I take one wedding per date.
How long until we see the film?
Two to four months, depending on the season. It is delivered in a private online cinema, together with a 2–3 minute trailer.
