Wedding videographer in France

Parisian salons, Loire châteaux and the vines of Bordeaux.

Wedding films for couples who choose France, from a city hall in Paris to a château dinner in the countryside. Based in Spain, I film destination weddings anywhere in the world. One wedding per date.

A destination wedding in France

A French wedding tends to run long and slow: an afternoon ceremony, a vin d'honneur on the lawn, then a dinner that carries on well into the night. The film should keep that rhythm. Stone façades and formal gardens in the daylight, candles and long tables after dark, and the speeches heard in full.

Based in Spain, I film weddings across Europe and beyond. My way of working is documentary and cinematic: no script, no posing, real sound recorded on discreet microphones for the vows and the toasts. Before the day I study the venue with you and your planner, go through the running order and look at where the light falls at the times you have chosen. I take one wedding per date, so your weekend in France is the only one in my diary.

From a wedding I filmed in Spain

Clara & Joel

“We never imagined that a video could move us so much. Every shot, every sound, every gesture… everything conveys exactly what we experienced that day. Thank you, Isma, for your dedication, your unique perspective, and for creating something so authentic. You have given us an eternal memory, full of love and sensitivity. We will watch it again and again, always with a smile.”

Questions

A wedding film in France: what couples ask

Do you film weddings in France?

Yes. I am based in Spain and available for destination weddings anywhere in the world, France included. We plan everything in English by email and video call.

How much does a wedding videographer in France cost?

Every destination wedding gets its own proposal. After our video call, or your enquiry, you receive a tailored proposal in euros within 24 hours, built around your day and the collection you choose.

Our wedding runs over a whole weekend. Can you film more than the day itself?

Yes. Many French weddings have a welcome dinner the night before or a brunch the morning after. These can be added to the coverage, and the Gold collection includes a pre-wedding and a post-wedding session of an hour each.

Can you work with our planner and photographer?

Yes. I speak with your planner and photographer before the day, agree the timings and keep out of each other's frame. On the day I work quietly in the background.

Will you use a drone?

Only where local rules and the weather allow. Flying is restricted over cities and near many historic sites, so I check what applies to your venue beforehand. The film never depends on the drone.

Can we marry legally in France?

Your planner or celebrant will confirm the legal side. Many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in France, which leaves the choice of setting open.

When should we book, and when is the film ready?

Six to twelve months ahead is a good margin, and earlier for a Saturday between May and October. The film is ready two to four months after the wedding, delivered in your private online cinema together with a short trailer.
