Bali wedding videographer

Cliffs over the ocean, rice terraces in green light.

Films for couples marrying in Bali: a chapel on the Uluwatu cliffs, a villa above the rice fields of Ubud, a long dinner on the sand at Seminyak or Canggu.

A wedding in Bali

Bali gives a wedding two very different moods. In the south the island ends in high limestone cliffs above the Indian Ocean, with surf below and wide sunsets. Inland, around Ubud, it is humid and green: terraced rice fields, jungle ravines, carved stone and offerings of flowers. A film of it should feel the warmth in the air, the sound of water and insects, and the slower rhythm of an island day.

I work from Spain and I film destination weddings anywhere in the world. On the day I stay documentary and cinematic, without posing you or writing a script, and I put discreet microphones on the vows so the ocean does not swallow them. Ahead of the wedding I go through the villa or chapel with you and your planner, the order of the day, and the hour when the light reaches each spot you want. No other wedding shares your date.

“The video exceeded all our expectations. It is pure emotion, a perfect blend of beauty, excitement, and authenticity. Each image transports us back to that day, as if we were experiencing it all over again.”

Questions

Marrying in Bali: your questions

Do you film weddings in Bali?

Yes. I am based in Spain and I take destination weddings anywhere in the world, Bali among them. We plan everything in English or Spanish by email and video call.

What does a wedding videographer in Bali cost?

Each destination wedding has a tailored proposal in euros, sent within 24 hours of our call or your enquiry and based on the coverage you choose.

Can we have our ceremony at a temple?

It depends on local custom and on the temple itself, so it is never something to assume. Your planner is the right person to ask. Many couples hold the ceremony at a villa or a cliff-top chapel instead.

What about the rainy season?

Bali has a wetter season, usually around the turn of the year, with heavy showers that often pass quickly. Your planner will know the patterns for your month. We always keep a covered option in the plan, and I film the rain if it comes.

Will you work alongside our planner and photographer?

Yes. I speak to both before the wedding to agree timings and positions. Your planner or celebrant will confirm the legal side; many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony there.

Will you fly a drone over the cliffs or the rice fields?

Only where local rules and the weather allow. Your planner and I check what applies to your venue, and nothing in the film depends on aerial shots.

When should we book, and when is the film delivered?

Six to 12 months ahead works for most dates. Your film is ready 2 to 4 months after the wedding, in a private online cinema, together with a 2–3 minute trailer.
