Dubai wedding videographer

Dunes at dusk, glass towers and a party that lasts for days.

Films for couples marrying in Dubai: a ceremony in the desert as the sand turns copper, a beach hotel on Palm Jumeirah, a ballroom with the Burj Khalifa lit up outside. One wedding per date.

A wedding in Dubai

Dubai weddings are often big, and they rarely fit in one day. For some couples there is a henna night or a mehndi, then a welcome dinner, the ceremony and a reception with hundreds of guests. The setting swings from bare dunes to a skyline of glass towers. A film of it has to keep pace with the scale and still find the quiet look between the two of you in the middle of it.

I am based in Spain, and I film weddings in Europe and well beyond it. My way of working stays the same wherever the wedding is: documentary and cinematic, nothing staged, with the vows, speeches and toasts recorded on discreet microphones. Before the day I study each venue with you and your planner, go through the programme event by event, and work out where the light will be at the hours you have chosen. For a celebration of this size I usually suggest two videographers. Your dates are the only wedding I take on them.

Belén & Álvaro

“We cannot describe in words how we felt when we saw the video. It is pure emotion, as if we were reliving every moment over and over again. Everything is done with exquisite taste and a sensitivity that touched our hearts.”

Questions

Dubai weddings: your questions answered

Do you film weddings in Dubai?

Yes. Spain is my base, and I take destination weddings anywhere in the world, so Dubai is open to you. We plan together in English or Spanish, over email and video calls.

How much does a wedding videographer in Dubai cost?

Every destination wedding gets its own proposal in euros. It reaches you within 24 hours of our call or your enquiry, built on the number of days and events you want filmed.

Our wedding has several events over three or four days. Can you cover them all?

Yes. We list every event with your planner, decide which ones the film should hold, and I shape the coverage and the edit around them. A longer programme simply makes a longer, fuller film.

Are there rules about filming in Dubai?

Rules on filming in public places and on drones are set locally and can be strict. I do not guess at them: your planner and the venue confirm what applies before the day, and I plan the shots around that.

Will you use a drone?

Only where local rules and the weather allow, and only once your planner has confirmed it for your venue. I never promise aerial shots, and the film stands without them.

Is it too hot to marry outdoors in Dubai?

Summer is usually extremely hot, so many couples choose the cooler months for anything outdoors. Whatever the season, we can keep the desert or beach moments for the last hour of daylight and move the rest indoors.

Can you work with our planner and photographer, and when will the film be ready?

Yes. I talk with both before the day so we know where each of us stands. Your planner or celebrant will confirm the legal side; many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony there. Book 6 to 12 months ahead. Your film is delivered 2 to 4 months later in your private online cinema, with a 2–3 minute trailer.
