Sicily wedding videographer
Baroque churches, a smoking volcano and the Ionian Sea below.
Films for couples marrying in Sicily, in Taormina, in the baroque towns of the south-east, in Palermo or on the island of Ortigia. One wedding per date.
Sicily feels like a country of its own. Golden baroque façades, Greek and Norman stones, lemon and almond trees, black lava fields under Etna and a sea that changes colour through the day. Sicilian celebrations are loud, warm and long. A film of a wedding here should carry both: the weight of the old towns and the noise of a family at the table.
Based in Spain, I film weddings across Europe and beyond. I work in a documentary, cinematic style, following the day rather than directing it, and I record vows, speeches and toasts on discreet microphones so the film keeps your voices. For a place I have not filmed before, I prepare with you and your planner: the church or villa, the running order and where the light falls at the hours you choose. I take one wedding per date.

Set up a video call at a time that works in your time zone. Tell me your date, the part of the island you are choosing and whether the ceremony is in a church.

We plan the day with your planner
With you and your planner I go through the church and the venue, the move between them and where the sun falls for the ceremony and the portraits.

A booking payment holds your date. The balance is paid in instalments, and the last 10% when you receive the film.

Wedding films in Sicily: what couples ask me
Do you film weddings in Sicily?
Yes. I am based in Spain and take destination weddings anywhere in the world, Sicily included. We plan in English by email and on video calls.
How much does a Sicily wedding videographer cost?
Each destination wedding receives a tailored proposal in euros within 24 hours of our call or your enquiry. It depends on the collection and how your day is organised.
We want a church ceremony in a baroque town and a party by the sea. Can the film follow both?
Yes. Many Sicilian weddings move from a church in the old town to a villa or estate for the dinner. With your planner I fit the filming to that move, so the church, the way out and the evening all have their place. The legal side and any church requirements are for your planner or celebrant to confirm; many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony on the island.
Can you work with our planner and photographer?
Yes. Before the wedding I agree with both where each of us stands in the church and during the speeches, so nobody blocks anybody's view.
Will the film have drone shots of Etna or the coast?
Only where local rules and the weather allow. I check what applies to your venue beforehand, and the film is built so it does not need aerial footage.
When should we book?
Six to twelve months ahead, and earlier for a summer Saturday. I film only one wedding per date.
When do we receive our film?
Two to four months after the wedding, depending on the season. It is delivered in a private online cinema, with a 2–3 minute trailer to share.
